Back to normal

Posted on April 29th, 2005 by Tyme White in Miscellaneous

Things are starting to get back to normal. I took a time out and made an effort to get more organized. I posted on BlogTyme about the problem I’ve had with comments and keeping up with them. Not the comments made on my sites – keeping up with what is said on other sites. It’s [...]

Comment feeds

Posted on April 29th, 2005 by Tyme White in Miscellaneous

Does anyone else have a hard time remembering what posts on which blog they responded to and more importantly – remembering to check back and read responses? That is my downfall, I admit it. I’ll remember to read a site because my RSS aggregator informs me there is something new. I’ll forget to check back [...]

Technology needs to catch up

Seth Levine says:

This is a real problem in the RSS world. With the number of blogs and feeds proliferating (Technorati says they now track almost 9m weblogs and over 1bn links; and that doesn’t even include all of the feeds from newspapers, magazines, on-line news, etc) there’s a lot of info to parse through. This [...]

Disclose before you’re busted

From the Wall Street Journal (subcription needed):

“Considering what you showed me, kids’ games really don’t have to be violent,” said the anchor for KVUE, an ABC affiliate and the No. 1-rated television station in its market.

“If…you’re not careful, they will be,” Mr. Oppenheim replied. “That’s why I’ve shown you some of the best.”

Criticism can be a good thing

Posted on April 20th, 2005 by Tyme White in Miscellaneous

D. Keith Robinson did a comparison of CSS Vault and Stylegala. Stylegala is an excellent example of a new site (started in 2004) that came out of know where and left all the other CSS galleries in the dust. It’s a new site but it’s top dog.

CSS Vault was recently sold to Jacob Gower. It’s [...]

Scrivs is back – 9Rules

Posted on April 20th, 2005 by Tyme White in Miscellaneous

I said Scrivs would be back, and he is. He’s writing at WhiteSpace again and 9Rules Network has a new design, and a blog.

Let’s look at the 9Rules design a minute. It doesn’t look like the normal WordPress site and I love that. If you read Scrivs before you know he was using MovableType so [...]

My Thoughts: Response to Thomas Hawk

Posted on April 20th, 2005 by Tyme White in Miscellaneous

I tried posting this at Robert Scoble’s site but his site is malfunctioning. So here is my response:
Thomas (in his response to me): ok, thank you for the clarification. That was how it came across. I see where you are coming from but your statement is inaccurate – there will be more women upgrading to [...]
