Celebration

The change has been made – I’m back using Expression Engine. I still have to port over the WordPress themes…I’ll do it eventually. Speaking of themes, all the other themes work properly now. Enjoy!

Oh one other thing – all my posts are in one place now! I was easily able to import the WP posts [...]

Picture but no name? Makes no sense…

Going through my blogroll I noticed something interesting. A large number of blogs have a picture of the blogger prominently on the front page – but no name. No About page, no author name on the post. Nothing to identify to me the name of the blogger. Ironically, the majority of them are TypePad blogs.

Playing around with WordPress for awhile (for the book) although it’s nice and I would recommend it for some bloggers, I need something a bit more, shall we say “professional” so I’m going to switch back to Expression Engine – if my license is still good.

It’s ironic that Robert Scoble made his post today because for the past couple of days I’ve been struggling with my blogroll. I made some decisions and WOW is it making life easier.

1) I put all FeedBurner feeds in their own category. If FB goes down, I can ignore that folder.
