In the last article I spoke making mistakes and moving past those mistakes. In this article, I go into more detail explaining why people usually fail when trying to recover from their mistakes and the key to truly overcoming bad times due to bad decisions being made.
You screwed up. How do you recover?
Success is a beautiful thing but sometimes, it comes before the person receiving the success is ready to handle it. That is what happened, in my opinion, to Daniel Brusilovsky. Allegedly Daniel, a 17-year-old technology writer, tried to receive a Macbook Air as compensation in exchange for writing an article for TechCrunch. When the owners of TechCrunch found out what happened, they investigated, found the tip correct, fired Daniel and removed all of his content from the site.
Everyone makes mistakes, some bigger than others. How does one recover?
Knowing when you are being played
Being played (taken advantage of) happens in business. Unfortunately, many people leave themselves open to it. Are you one of them?
Improving Product or Service Launches

Just like I don’t believe everyone can be a “good” leader (surgeon, lawyer, insert profession here) I don’t believe everyone can be steak. If everyone could [...]

My brother and I were close. We used to talk quite often about everything under the sun. He was a very meticulous person, very neat, organized and orderly. It used to puzzle me, with his level of efficiency, that he never had his own business. I used to bug him about it, even offered to [...]
Sometimes lies take over a year to surface
lie –noun 1. a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive; an intentional untruth; a falsehood. I started with a definition to make sure we are on the same page. Note the definition: deliberate intent to deceive. If the statement is deliberate the person is making a conscious choice to lie, to try to [...]
The greatest enemy of any one of our truths may be the rest of our truths

Tasha is in the military, dedicated her life to the military, has an impressive career, but is under investigation for being a lesbian. Tasha’s desire to serve our country is honorable but at the end of the [...]
