Knowing when to delegate responsibilities is important. I use myself as an example in blogging on knowing when to do something yourself and when to delegate.
“Even when opportunity knocks a man still has to get up off his seat and open the door”. Seeing the opportunity is the first step.
It’s a gift to be ambitious and motivated. Unfortunately, it is easy to become comfortable around people who do not have the same goals. That will impede your success.
Why is it that we know something is not working yet we have the expectation for it to work? Time to look at unrealistic expectations.
If you want something bad enough, you should be willing to put forth the consistent effort to achieve it. Note I didn’t say work. There is a difference.
Yes, I know, you are busy. There isn’t enough time in a day. Let’s be real, you have time to see your friends. Stop lying.
There is a difference between wanting something, needing something and appreciating the things we already have. How often have you said, “I appreciate everything you do…” but didn’t mean it and continued to take advantage of someone? Stop it.
We all make mistakes in life and hopefully, if we are smart, we learn from them and not repeat them. Instead of wasting time cleaning up repeat mistakes the time would be better spent moving forward with your life. That’s how you achieve success making smart decisions. I made some dumb ones – being the unappreciated doormat. Not anymore.
